A little service announcement and what I have been up to lately.
Hey everyone I know it has been a while and I can explain… The new platform that we were supposed to use we are no longer using for blogging and just using it for donation and support. But since I am fully funded no one really needs to go on it. Unless you have to access what have you have donated or something like that. But for Blogging I will still be using this page!!!!!!
Sorry for the confusion for people that created accounts on missional life.
Since the last the post I visited the U.S for my brother wedding was amazing and congratulations to them. And I very blessed for all the new family I gained recently!!!
Before I left for the U.S we got to experience the water festival. Which is 3 days long and they have a bunch of street food, games, concerts and etc. It is held to mark the end of rainy season and the start of harvest season. Which on Thursday all the guys on my squad spent a couple days harvesting rice which was incredible experience. I though only did one day of harvesting since I left Friday morning for the U.S
On my way back I had a traveling companion since on of my squad makes had to go back to states. So we took on The Singapore airport! Which was epic!!!! I’m going to try and post picture, key word was try!
Then when I came back our squad split up into our individual teams and my team went two hours to a new ministry!!! Our ministry is at a school, that teaches English, which is what we do. Since we have free time in between the 2 classes we teach, we have developed relationships with some of the students and locals and some of my team has been teaching english privately and other of us will exercise ( which is me) and will also just have fellowship with our team during that time. Then after we teach english we will play a full court basketball game with the students and let me tell you I am the worst basketball player you have ever seen. But at the same time I have so much fun playing with them.
Our ministry up here has been so amazing I love it so much!!
Since we can not always share the gospel since they don’t understand some of the words we say, we are able to show them the LOVE of JESUS!!!!!
I’m going to switch the subject a bit. Coming back to Cambodia was super tough for me and reintegrated back into Worldrace life. Going from fellowship everyday and all the people I live with all wanting to walk and do life with Jesus. To then back to America where people can care less about the person next them. And then back into that fellowship and Christian community was a little hard. Because how convicting it was to see how Christians in America are living there lives. And how Luke warm Christians in America our. It was convicting because I was one of them. All I could think about is how the biggest mission field is in America. And how I wanted to be back there helping instead of here. The Holy Spirit keeps telling me I’m supposed to be here in Cambodia and on the Worldrace so be present here and not there back in the states. Then readjusting to the weather since it’s 85 degrees with 80% humidity and seeing how the weather effected my mood was very hard. So in the middle of the day I went on a run and when i did that it boasted my energy and my morale.
So lately I have been the best last the couple days. And i got back almost two weeks ago ish. I know I’m supposed to be here, I just tend to find myself not presently here. For me just going to the Word and pray when I find myself in temptations or not being here mentally helps. Seeing God work when I go to him and trust him. He has given me so much peace when I have done that.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Romas 12:9
We recently read Romans 12 and I Encourage everyone to go give it a read and if you have already go do it again. The Spirit point out the words Love must be SINCERE. The word sincere suck out to me, that love can not be forced it has to be genuine and that hit me that train when I read that.
So yea I probably just rambled but if you were to talk to me face to face this what you would’ve of got its not perfect but its Anthony speaking
