Verse of the week: 1 Corinthians 13.4-8
- Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast envy, it does not boast. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keep no records of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails.
Praise to God that I am at $15,520 of the $15,800!!!!!!
Thank to all that have sponsored me on this calling of mine! I am so grateful for all you guys
It is currently Tuesday-Thursday when I am writing this, which it means it i have been at training camp for about a week and couple days. The days that I have been here have been amazing I wouldn’t trade them for anything!
Sooooo far… We have done a lot of things from going to session two times a day and hearing the good word of God, to bucket showers, to hiking 10 miles on the Appalachian trail in the pouring rain, to sleeping in a tent, to eating Asian food which is not one of my acquired taste! To hand washing my clothes, to spike ball, to can kam, to meeting so many new amazing people and getting to know them! God has been so, so ,so good to this past week!
I am not just closer to the people here. My relationship with God has grown so much just over this past weeks! I just want to say again how good our Father up in heaven is! How much He loves when we don’t actually deserve his love! I am excited for what is still yet to come.
Here our a couple of my notes from the past couple sessions…
- Forgiveness=bitterness
- We have the power and authority to FORGIVE.
- Do not give feedback when you are angry.
- Do not assume someone’s intentions.
- It is impossible to do what God wants us to do without the HOLY SPIRIT.
- If you think you are unworthy of love, you will never receive love.
- How do you think God feels when you talk to his kids in not a loving manner?
- The truth is a person and that person is Jesus.
- The word of God does not change.
- There is a difference between what is true and what is truth.
Hey guys this is Alexa and i just wanted to say hi, today we’re going out and evangelizing at a walmart in Georgia.
For my first time evangelizing…. It was super hard. I didn’t even share the gospel to anyone. I pray that next time I have the boldness to share the gospel. I did pray for a lot of people and i am going to ask you guys to join me in pray for Jerry who has back problems, Britney who has tendon problems in her arm, Sandra and her husband who have a lot have health problems, Justin who may of dislocated his thumb, terry who has had both her hips replaced and recognize the love of Jesus and return to the church. Two other guys I tired to talk to but didn’t want anything to do with me. That the Lord can work in there life. Then in Home Depot for Caleb to continue his walk with the lord and for diesel mechanic school that he have the strength and courage to get through everyday no matter how hard it is. For Joy that the Lord works in her life to get her back to the truth which is the word of God. Since she has drifted away when she was young. Don that he boldness to talk about the good news of Jesus Christ!
I also rolled my ankle pretty bad on Wednesday right before we went and evangelized so pray for healing of my ankle. The reason i rolled was probably so I can take the time to sit here and write a blog post.
Anthony (Tony)
I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished.
Does this mean I can have all your nerf guns and ammunition for them?
Anthony, I read your words and know that you are growing in boldness. This is something that God taught me on my race. As missionaries we are called to be bold in humility. I will pray that as you continue to sit (hence the rolled ankle) the voice of the Lord will be more vibrant than ever before!
Anthony, it was great to hear from you last night!!! My internet was bad in Flagstaff so I missed the part about your ankle on your video blog. Until we spoke I won’t have known. It is amazing to see how you have grown just in the week with the conversation last night. I’m so proud of you!!! I can’t wait to see how God, will grow you and the team. I like to hear how well you’re adapting to your environment. (I knew you would) I hope you took some of my advice to dance in the rain. I am glad things are a little bit drier for the group. @Uncle Andy’s comment, I will figure out how to break the news to him offline, we donated them to our community center. Enjoy your weekend! Love you always!!! Mom
Great notes – thank you for sharing. I’ll be praying for boldness and am so encouraged to see how the Lord is working!
No shot
Thank you very much! I appreciate it!
